I think it's only appropriate that on the anniversary of such a terrible, terrible day that I focused in on my two boys (yeah, the human boy didn't make it into the picture, but I was thinking of him, too). I hope all of my imaginary friends are safe and well and surrounded by loved ones on a day of sad rememberence like today.

I rather enjoy the idea of being an imaginary friend, and yes we got thru the day mostly ok. Just a stomach pang now and then =(
I loooove the painting! My Mom and Dad have two black cats and over the years, they have amassed quite a collection of black cat art - your painting looks like it would fit right in! Kouros is a fantastic model!
