Workplace Encounter

I just walked into the greenhouse where Fantastic Boss was working. He snapped his head up and looked at me, a bit startled. I said,

"So sorry- I hope I didn't frighten you."

His reply?

"Noooo. (pause) Not any more than you usually do."

I love my work environment, even if I am sick of my job.
